Federal, State, and Local Laws Relating to Firearms Purchases:

We comply with ALL Federal, State, and Local laws. You must be aware of all laws affecting your purchase of weapons, ammunition, and magazines. Check your State and Local laws before you place an order.

The following list of State and local laws is NOT represented to be all inclusive of the 50 States' numerous firearms and magazine laws. Please know your State and Local Laws BEFORE purchasing High Capacity Magazines and Firearms. Individual State & Local laws are too numerous to list on our website, however, the following sales Restrictions will apply:

CALIFORNIA: All handgun shipments to a type 01 FFL Dealers only and modern handguns must be on the California approved list. No High Capacity magazine sales. No Assault Weapon sales. C&R Licensees may purchase only C&R Rifles that are at least 50 years old, even if the rifle appears on the Federal C&R list. All CA Dealers must give us their CL# before ordering. Check for other State and Local laws before placing an order.

*COLORADO: We are temporarily suspending ALL SALES to Colorado, until we can determine the affect of the new legislation signed by the Colorado Governor. Please check back with us.

*CONNECTICUT: We are temporarily suspending ALL SALES to Connecticut, until we can determine the affect of the new legislation signed by the Connecticut Governor. Please check back with us. No Sales of WASR, CETME Rifles, or FAL Rifles.

ILLINOIS: No Firearms sales to Chicago, or Cooke County. C&R 03 Licensees may purchase C&R Eligible firearms, however Illinois FOID card must be on file. Check for other State and Local laws before placing an order.

MASSACHUSETTS: Type 01 FFL Dealers may purchase handguns that are on the MA approved for sale list. C&R License holders may only purchase eligible Rifles and those sales require a copy of a Class A or B license along with standard requirements. No sales of high capacity magazines exceeding 10rds manufactured before 09/14/1994 except individuals having a MA issued Class A license or dealers. No sales of high capacity magazines exceeding 10rds manufactured 09/14/1994 or after. No Ammunition Sales to anyone in the state of MA. Check for other State and Local laws before placing an order.

MARYLAND: Modern Handguns must be listed on the MD handgun roster. No High Capacity Magazines sales of magazines that accept more than 20 rounds. Check for other State and Local laws before placing an order.

NEW JERSEY: No Sales of CETME Rifles. Absolutely no Handgun sales to C&R type 03 licensees. No High Capacity (over 15rds) Magazine Sales. Check for other State and Local laws before placing an order.

NEW YORK: No Sales.

WASHINGTON DC: No Sales.

FFL Transfers allow a firearm to be legally bought and/or sold over the internet.

Per the Gun Control Act of 1968, the buyer of the firearm is required to pass an FBI NICS background check with a determination of "Approved" in-order for PEACEKEEPER FIREARMS to complete the transfer of the firearm. If the buyer is unable to receive an "Approved" status on the FBI NICS background check PEACEKEEPER FIREARMS will not complete the transaction period, no exceptions.

FFL Firearms Transfers:

TRANSFERS:

We transfer firearms for $25.00 per transaction. The Transaction Fee does not apply to firearms purchased from PEACEKEEPER FIREARMS.

For multiple firearms transfers the fee is $25.00 for the first firearm transferred, and $10.00 for each additional firearm transferred during the same transaction. Such as, multiple firearms transferred to the same buyer, on the same day, during the same transaction.
You purchase a firearm online or through an auction site in another State we will receive the firearm(s) from the seller for you and transfer the firearm(s) to you after you pass a NICS background check or have a Georgia Firearms Carry License and pay the appropriate transfer fee(s).

Free FFL Transfers for all POLICE OFFICERS & FIREFIGHTERS (single or multiple transfers) with proper credentials.

Free FFL Transfers for all ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY (single or multiple transfers) with proper Military I.D. & ORDERS.

$10.00 FFL Transfers for all Retired Military or Veterans with valid/current ID.

Transfer process:
All FFL transfers will be conducted at our licensed premises or a Georgia gun show only. The buyer is required to provide a valid Georgia Photo ID with current physical address, a P.O. Box is not acceptable as a physical address. If your physical address is not current on your Georgia I.D. then an additional government issued I.D. (State or Federal) is required to show your current physical address. A Georgia Firearms License or Military Orders are acceptable.

1) The buyer must complete an ATF form 4473.

2) The buyer must be legally eligible to purchase and possess a firearm.

3) The buyer must pass an FBI NICS background check. The only exception to completing the FBI NICS Back ground check is if you posses a valid/current Georgia Firearms License (concealed carry permit).

4) The buyer must be the purchaser of the firearm. Do not send a family member or anyone else to purchase a firearm for you, we will not complete the sale.

When steps 1-4 are complete we will transfer possession of firearm to the buyer. If the buyer is unable to pass an FBI NICS background check or complete steps 1-4, we will NOT SALE the firearm to the buyer NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

PEACEKEEPER FIREARMS is NOT responsible or liable for any damage(s) or for the loss of any merchandise once the carrier has taken possession of the shipment. Any claims for damages or loss shall be between the buyer and the carrier. Peacekeeper Firearms is merely providing a transfer service between FFL's.

Definitions:
FFL: (Federal Firearms License): provides legal authorization for a dealer to engage in the intrastate & interstate sale of modern firearms.

NICS: (National Instant Criminal Background Check System): regulatory division of the FBI that verifies legal eligibility for firearms purchases.

Straw Purchases: an illegal firearm purchase where the actual buyer of the gun, being unable to pass the required federal background check or desiring not to have his or her name associated with the transaction, uses a proxy buyer who can pass the required background check to purchase the firearm for him/her. It is highly illegal and punishable by a $250,000 fine and 10 years in prison.

Straw Purchase / Anti-Bloomberg Law - Any person who attempts to solicit, persuade, encourage, or entice any dealer to transfer or otherwise convey a firearm other than to the actual buyer, as well as any other person who willfully and intentionally aids or abets such person, shall be guilty of a felony. (16-11-113)

Furnishing a Pistol to a Minor - It is illegal to sell or give a pistol or revolver to a person under 18 years old. Possession of handguns by minors is only allowed as explained in the Possession section. (16-11-101.1)
